Parson’s Page
Dear FCC Family,

1. THANK YOU! The Halloween Carnival for Youth Missions
was a huge success! Thank you especially to Genie
Feltenstein and Bill Autry for leading our wonderful youth
that evening! The meal, the costumes, the laughter - wow!
The pictures are on our church website (click photos) at
www.FirstChristianMeridian.org thanks to Rick Courtney and
Christi Webb. We have had over 100,000 visitors on that
website! Thank you all for sharing your spirit and the
fellowship was marvelous!

2. ALL SAINTS SUNDAY: We move the colors to white to
remember our members who have entered the Church Triumphant
this past year: Hanner Barnes, Adelyn Farr and Cliff
Walker. Their names will be spoken followed by the chime
and a time of silence. We love them and are thankful that
we shall see them again one day in heaven.

3. REGIONAL ASSEMBLY: Parson Tom, Robin and Joe Johnson,
Ed and Donna Owen will be our delegates for the weekend of
business and celebrating our unity as a three-state region
of mission! Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi will all be
represented in Shreveport at the Kings Highway Christian
Church (looks a bit like ours!). See it at www.KHCC.org

4. Nov 11: SHINE ON Music for Missions: Casual dress,
Family Friendly, fun ahead! This is the big night for
raising money for building Christie's Castle and the
Westside Mission! We will be at the Grand Opera House and
the music includes Tommy Sikes, Erick Evans (OLE MISS) and
the award winning band of Theresa Andersson! An art auction
of Rachel (Busler) Misenar will also raise funds! Thank you
to all our sponsors in the church and community. Hosted by
PavingYourWay Outreach. Almost sold out!

5. Nov 12: Sunday Festival of Faith will include Debra
Russom of Southern Christian Services (Children’s Homes),
Vance and Jeanie Moore of Westside Mission in New Orleans,
and an after-church luncheon for all those new members who
joined in the past year! Sponsored by the Membership
Ministry Team, Worship Team and Outreach Team!

So, we have a lot going on! Remember, you have to be
present to win!

Love and Joy!
Parson
