Dear FCC Family,
This Sunday you are invited around the MONOPOLY
board! Pick your monopoly piece, seek your properties, and
let's go around the board together with Jesus! It will be a
refreshing sermon after the last few messages that have
been heavy I know! Come to Sunday School at 9:30am for
donuts and coffee and then a devotional time at 9:45am in
the Fellowship Hall. Then enjoy your SS class and discover
the joys of STUDY!
Have you signed up yet for the Church RETREAT at
Pinelake Camp in West Meridian? Led by the CMF (Marcus
Willis), we will have family activities including
basketball, football, paddleboating, canoeing, fishing,
camping, sunset reflections, smores, and a Sunday morning
communion service by the lake! Sign up in the FELLOWSHIP
HALL this Sunday!
FCC has some great news! The Health Department
building and LEMA offices next door are now owned by FCC!
We have expanded our property for future mission in our
community. The Board has already voted to purchase the
building if available for $190,000 thanks to your faithful
and fruitful stewardship through the years! A special thank
you to the Long Range Planning Teams led by BB Archer and
Andrew Covington!
See you at the Table.
Selah.

retired now.
While in California the Clearmans attended the First
Congregational Church of San Bernardino, CA where Gerald
served as Moderator.

Outreach Team Request
The Outreach Mission Team is supplying snacks for the Boys
and Girls Club again this year. We are asking the entire
church for help in this project. We need snacks, individual
packages of cookies, nabs, crackers, etc. or if you would
like to purchase an entire box of individually wrapped
goodies, that would be greatly appreciated. These will be
collected on the third Sunday of each month so we can get
them delivered to the Boys and Girls Club on the first
Tuesday of each month.
Boxes will be available at all Church entrances this Sunday
for you to drop off your snacks. Thank you for helping in
this worthwhile project.

The annual retreat and picnic at Pine Lake Fellowship camp
will be October 21-22. There will be fishing,
paddle-boating, football, volleyball, hiking and having
great fellowship. Sunday evening we will have our annual
fish fry.
The cost will be $6.50 per day or $10 if you stay overnight
(this is per person).
There is a sign up sheet in the Fellowship Hall.

ATTENTION!! Choir news

cantata, which will be performed on December 17th. If you

The cantata will include chimes this year. If anyone is
interested in playing them, please contact Wynne a.s.a.p.
