Dear FCC Family,
This Sunday is HUGE! This Sunday we continue our
FAMILY LIFE Series as we examine communication in marriage
and families! We also have a skit planned for you that
should lead us into the message! I look forward to seeing
each of you back in the saddle after Labor Day and let's
bring our spirit into our songs too!
Rally Day is at 10am in the sanctuary where we welcome
our new students of all ages! We thank our teachers for the
last year and their dedication to being prepared each
Sunday. We will recognize those moving up to new grades
too! Thank you for your study of the Word and your
commitment as disciples.
Following worship we will have a BOARD MEETING (all
deacons, elders and officers) are invited to stay after
church for a brief vote on the new ushers and deacons. As
we grow we will be adding more and more folks into the
leadership positions of our church!
Sunday nights we are working on a program for our
children too thanks to the Christian Education Ministry
Team and Lucian Lee! The Youth Group (6-12 graders) will be
meeting this Sunday at Bill Autry's home for a kickoff of
the Youth Fellowship. Get involved and we need all the
parents to help the students be committed to Christ!
See you Sunday.

In The Mail
Dear CWF and Church Family,
Words can not begin to express our gratitude for the
wonderful reception you gave our family. The food, the
flowers, the photos, the cards, the prayers and the hugs
were so special to each of us. As you all know, our family
at First Christian is one of the things we miss the most.
We brought your warmth and love with us, as we left our
love behind with you.
We are settling in here and we love it. We have been to
several churches and will soon find a special one that will
add to our spiritual lives and build on our experiences
with you.
We love you!
Roger, Leslie, Benn, Anna and Catherine
