Parson’s Page
Dear FCC Family,
"GOD ROCKS!" Come this Sunday as our VBS kids will lead
us in worship along with Clint and Ruth Fletcher! We have
made birdhouses for the Habitat Homes and written letters
to the children at Billy White Village in Belize.
Necklaces, picture frames, vbs handbags, bandanas and more
crafts have been led by Leigh Ann Ballou, Rachel Robinson
and Page Sikes. A hearty thank you for all who helped with
VBS this year! Come Sunday as we use that theme in worship!
Love in Christ, Pastor Tom

A Church-wide Reception
Honoring
Roger, Leslie, Benn, Anna and Catherine Covington
July 30, 2006
After the Worship Service
The Covington family will be moving to Winchester, Virginia
in August

Attention Elders
There will be an Elders meeting July 30th following the
Worship Service.

Dear Friends:
On behalf of Southern Christian Services for Children and
Youth and Harden House, I want to express our gratefulness
and appreciation for allowing Bill, Genie, Anna, Katherine,
Benn and Will to take the mission trip to paint the fence
at Harden House.
In spite of the heat, I believe everything went
exceptionally well. The fence looks absolutely fabulous.
The scripture that comes to mind at the moment is “When
you’ve done it unto the least of one of these, my brethren,
you’ve done it unto me.” By assisting us in upgrading the
home, I believe their spirits have been uplifted. There was
such team work from your group along with the youth at the
home. The only thing we could have asked for would have
been a breeze sweeping around the corner.
I also want to thank you for the check Bill is sending to
further update the home in our “Adopt-A-Room” Project.
I would really like to come to your church at a convenient
time to introduce myself and personally say thank you to
all those who made this possible. You are a tremendous
blessing to this agency, to Harden House and to me. Please
let me know when I can come.
Because of Him,
Debra Russom
