Dear FCC Family,
Sign up now for Vacation Bible School! Rising
Kindergarteners to 5th graders will be gathering on July
24-27 at 10am to noon for MUSIC, Bible Stories, Arts and
Crafts and writing letters to children in Billy White
Village near San Ignacio, Belize! Call the Church office
please so we know to plan for you!
A GIANT THANK YOU to Jerrell Polk for coordinating our
Habitat for Humanity Disciples House. His spirit,
faithfulness and attitude is a real blessing! We are
getting closer to completion. The house is at 2512 26th
Street in Meridian. It is funded by Week of Compassion, the
mission arm of the Disciples of Christ denomination!
This Sunday we enter our third week of a sermon series
called "Getting a Handle on..." and we will be focusing on
loneliness. If you are not lonely, be thinking of someone
who is and join us as we pack the church!
FCC is a sister congregation for Westside Christian Church
in West Bank, New Orleans! Be ready to help rebuild that
church as we bring mission teams there! Also, we are a
sister congregation for FCC Moss Point and will be bringing
other teams there too! Get ready!
An Amazon Mission Trip is scheduled for SPRING BREAK (March
9-18, 2007) and we are looking for folks! I am hoping to
offer a medical and dental team, a VBS team and a
construction team. The price is $400 plus airfare. It is
sponsored by Rivers of the World and we will be seeing the
church we built in Vila Alves too! Climb aboard and join
us!

parking around our Church. We would like to request that
those who are healthy and strong leave the closest parking
for those who are more physically challenged.
