CMF Playground Tiles Are you looking for a fun and worthwhile activity for your children this summer? Well, we’ve got the perfect answer! Simply go by the Cubby Hole on the corner of 9th Street and 23rd Ave. where you and your children can put your artistic talents to work designing a 6”x 6” ceramic tile, which will be permanently displayed on the wall in our new playground. Adults are also invited to contribute their own designs of artwork, bible verse, etc. The cost is $20 each, payable at the Cubby Hole. This is a fundraiser for our Christian Men’s Fellowship as we continue to work to improve and make additions to our new playground. Meals for Habitat Workers The women of the church will be providing special lunch meals each weekday during the three weeks (possibly four) beginning June 25th for groups that will be coming in from out of state to work on our habitat house. I will contact the group circles to be in charge of a week. Please contact me to volunteer during those weeks, but I will be out of town until Friday, June 16th. Also, supplies for sandwiches, snacks, and drinks will be bought and placed in the kitchen of the church for use by our local church members who work through the lunch hour during these next two weeks beginning June 12th. These supplies will be replenished as needed, and will serve to help those who need a break during the hot hours of the day while working on the house. This will be a "help-yourself" relief spot. Anyone who wishes to bring extra treats for the workers should bring them to the church kitchen. Church members who are working on the habitat house are asked to enter through the back kitchen door, and see the office staff in the Merritt house if the church is locked. This is a major and long term undertaking by the women of the church, and help will be needed from all of us.
